We own 35 beautiful acres along the banks of Yabba Creek\. 3 minutes out of Imbil village, 12 minutes to Borumba Dam and surrounded by State Forests\. We offer 4 sites, both powered and non\-powered sites\. Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in\. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife\. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles\. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year\. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge"\. We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close\. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek\. The location is private and the scenery is incredible. I do however strongly advised against this spot if it rains! There is no grass and it turns very muddy and very slippery after rain. Had a rouge rain event over night which made the site unbearable. The kayaks are a great luxury when they are available. The animals were quite entertaining also. There is alot of machinery and road noise at this location so if your looking for a quiet getaway then might be something to consider. We had a camper trailer that fit in the spot quite nicely even though it states tent site only. This would definitely be the pick in the summer when it's warm enough to enjoy swimming. Kids had an amazing time. Kayaks provided was a big bonus. Very well maintained spot and just a stone throw away to the creek for a swim and kayaking. Toilet block with showers and flushing toilets are great and clean. We love this place and highly recommend it. We definitely will be camping at this place for many years to come.
