There is a bell on the reception door and also a brass bell on the pillar to attract attention if requiredThe ParkThe park consists of 25 acres in total of open countryside facing south and contains a number of lakes, some for coarse fishing, seven self catering Scandinavian lodges, and a small touring caravan site for caravans and tents\.In addition there is a Bunk House catering for cyclists and walkers, some of whom may be walking the long distance footpath known as the Herefordshire trail, which is situated a few hundred yards away\. With the adjacent habitats being predominately pasture, improved grassland and woodland, it was an ideal situation to create a site with the potential to support protected species such as Great Crested newts and other important species\.Colour & Variety all year roundOver 500 native water plants, trees and shrubs have been planted together with approximately 100 varieties of wild flowers, aiming to give colour and variety all year round\.Fishing for everyoneIt has been important to us to create an area accessible by all, especially allowing easy access for the disabled, giving them the opportunity for fishing for Carp, Rudd, Roach and Tench in the lakes, and enjoying the abundance of wildlife\.To be in keeping with the objectives of the project, all benches and picnic tables are environmentally friendly, having been made from recycled materials\.This has been a continuing process of improvement to incorporate the planting of approximately 600 native trees and the construction of five further pools\.Local AttractionsLedbury Town Centre The town is well known as a picturesque and thriving market centre with a wealth of Black and White architecture, set in this most beautiful and unspoilt landscape\. Access is from the M50 junction via the A417\. On reaching the roundabout on the Ledbury by\-pass turn left and follow the signs for Hereford\. At the third roundabout turn left into Little Marcle Road, passing the factory on the left\. Drive a further 1/2 mile and Falcon Lane is on the right\. Drive along Falcon Lane and take the sixth entrance on the right into Woodside Lodges\.From Junction 2 on the M50 take the A417 to Ledbury\. At the roundabout turn left following Leadon Way \(by\-pass\) signposted UBL and Hereford \(A438\)\. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit \(by\-pass\) to the next roundabout\. Turn left into Little Marcle Road, signposted to Little Marcle\. Go past the UBL factory and take the right turn signposted Falcon Lane and Baregains Lane\. Woodside Country Park is the sixth entrance on the right\.
