staying at Wildflowers with our two boys! Tammy was an amazing host, so responsive and friendly. Upon arriving we weren’t sure that we were in the right place and she guided us in and met us at our site. We had total privacy and were in total seclusion during our stay. The site itself was so beautiful. A field filled with wildflowers right next to a ( very cold) creek. Tammy gave us pretty much free reign to explore her land and my boys loved playing in the creek, having stick fights in the woods, relaxing in the hammock, and around the campfire. If you are looking for a spot to get away this is it! I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Another huge bonus was how close we were to Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille which is so beautiful and City Beach is a great place for families. The drive down to the site can be a little rough and would suggest and SUV or 4WD. What a wonderful campsite! You feel like you are completely removed from civilization and far, far away! While you do pass scattered homes on your way in, you are at the bottom of a secluded small valley where there is no noise intrusion with the exception of a far-off train. What you do hear is nature. The rushing creek is steps away. Of all our stops during our cross-country journey, this was our favorite for it's feel of remoteness and complete immersion in nature's cacophony.\r\n\r\nTammy was a gracious and generous host.
