We are situated in the heart of the Cotswolds and are surrounded by excellent gastropubs, beautiful villages, great sightseeing and shopping opportunities, and wonderful walking / cycling\. You will have sole occupation of a huge field; you can park on top of the hill to enjoy the views; or hunker down in the valley for total privacy\. We operate a "Leave No Trace" policy; so we welcome tents provided that campers make provision to bury or remove human waste, and take home all trash\. We have a plumbed in loo available in the barn beside the farmyard\. It is quite a walk from the spots where most of our guests like to camp; and it is just a loo, no washing facilities\. Bore water \(not suitable for drinking unless boiled\) is available free on request, and firewood is available to purchase for your barbecue\. We allow only raised barbecues and fire pits to avoid degrading the pasture\. Campers are banned from the farmyard and all buildings, and unsupervised contact with livestock for their own protection\. A few eating / outing suggestions: Sherborne Arms, Aldsworth \- traditional drinking pub, within walking distance, but it is a fast road\. Gastropubs include Sherborne Arms, Northleach \(no connection, other than the name, with the Aldsworth one\) \- 01451 828186\. The Wheatsheaf, Northleach \- 01451 539889\. The Village Pub, Barnsley \- 0345 225 9494\. Numerous eateries in Burford\. A bit further afield \(approx 30 minutes drive\) there is the well known Daylesford organic destination with shop, eateries, spa, etc\.
