The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore\. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area\. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim\. We spent plenty of time floating in the waterholes and sitting in the rapids to cool off, which was just the kind of relaxation we needed. There was also lots of chill time under the trees and around the fire, soaking in the peaceful surroundings.\n\nWe took a trip into Aratula for some delicious goodies – the famous bakery pies and fresh bread never disappoint. We also had a great lunch at the Aratula Pub, a perfect little break from camp life.\n\nOverall, it was another refreshing and fun-filled escape into nature. The grass paddock for camping was recently mowed and the path down to the creek was clear. The kids loved seeing and hearing the cows and playing in the creek. After all the recent rain the creek was flowing and there were plenty of deeper spots you could dunk yourself in.\n\nThe campsite is a large round flat paddock with plenty of space for the kids to ride their bikes. The only downside for us was that we booked all 3 x sites for our group of three families so thought we had the place all to ourselves. More campers turned up during our stay which made it a bit awkward as we had set up our campsite right around the entrance to the creek so the other campers had to walk through our campsite to get to the creek.
