Walter's campground is along a beautiful creek where you can see kingfishers, kestrels, herons, and the occasional river otter. If you are into more domestic animals, he keeps a small herd of cows at the adjacent farm. The campsites are easy to get to and work for my small teardrop camper, allowing me to camp right on the creek-side. The outhouses are clean, and Walter offers a variety of services such as firewood, eggs, and ice you can purchase while there (and which he will deliver to your campsite). It's a dog-friendly location as well. Can't recommend this enough!
