The Park is spacious and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and boasts panoramic rural and coastal views\.Facilities include a small but well equipped shop; free showers, laundry room and children’s play area\. We have a baby changing facility & disabled toilet and also stock Calor and Camping Gaz in our Accessories Shop\.Only families and couples are accommodated\. No Groups\. We are happy to take well behaved dogs although not in all caravans\. They must be kept on a lead within the Park, and in the interests of hygiene, exercised away from the Park\.Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park has been owned by the Cloke family for many years and old friends and acquaintances return year after year to endorse the qualities of this lovely Park\. We look forward to having you with us this year \- a warm Cornish welcome awaits you\!Touring & CampingAt Upper Lynstone we have two camping fields offering 25 bookable, electric hook\-up pitches with 10\-amp connections\. The pitches are grassed and have been extensively levelled\.The adjoining camping area is open plan and accommodates approximately 45 units\. There are two separate toilet blocks as well as free showers and a spacious baby changing / disabled toilet\.Upper Lynstone has a family and couples only policy and no groups are allowed\. Single hikers are welcome\! Well behaved pets are allowed\. Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst on site and in the interest of hygeine, exercised off the park\.The coastal footpath adjoins the camp site and offers scenic walks to the coast and town with outstanding panoramic views\.The CaravansWe have modern four and six\-berth caravans at Upper Lynstone\. All have mains services, colour TV, refrigerator, microwave etc\.Accommodation in the vans is comprised of a lounge/dining area, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, wash\-basin and WC\. The four\-berth caravans have one double bedroom and two convertible bed settees in the lounge area\. The six\-berth caravans have one double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a convertible double bed in the lounge or dining area\. The Classic caravans have 3 bedrooms offering double, twin and well designed bunk room\.Duvets \(with covers\) and pillows are supplied but you will need to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea\-towels\. All cooking/eating utensils are provided\.The caravans are well\-spaced with plenty of room for you to park your car by the caravan\. They have splendid views inland to the old Bude Canal and river and to distant villages and moors\.FacilitiesUpper Lynstone is a 4\-Star Park graded by the English Tourist Board\. As a family\-owned and run business, we take pride in the cleanliness of our facilities and high standards of maintenance of the grounds\.We offer a small but well\-equipped shop offering a range of camping accessories and food products\. A freezer pack facility is available at a small charge\. We are also Camping Gaz and Calor stockists\.Our reception area offers an extensive range of literature and information on local places of interest and information on attractions to visit\. We can charge mobile phones and laptops etc at reception for a small fee\.For those camping, we offer free showers, two toilet blocks with diabled toilet and baby\-changing room\. A good\-sized laundry room offers washing machines, tumble dryers, separate sink for hand washing and two further sinks for dishwashing\. An ironing board and iron are available from reception for a small deposit\.A large outdoor play area offers a range of equipment including swings, slides, play\-fort and football nets\. BudevBude is a modern\. spacious resort and instead of a promenade above the beaches, there is open down land\. There are three miles of beaches in the area and Crooklets beach is estimated to be a close second to Australia’s Bondi Beach\.Widemouth Bay approximately two and a half miles south is a long sandy beach also very popular with surfers\. On Bude and Widemouth there are rock pools at low tide where children can while away many hours with shrimping nets and crab lines\.The coastal paths are in abundance and the walk to Crackington Haven \(10 miles\) is one of the most picturesque in the British Isles\. Being so close to the Devon border, visitors are within easy reach of Clovelly, Hartland Point, Westward Ho\! and many other North Devon resorts\.Dartmoor is just over half an hour away and Cornwall’s Bodmin Moor is closer still\. Bude is therefore ideally situated to tour both Devon and Cornwall\.There is also Bude’s Splash fun pool with its wave machine for the not so sunny days\.
