By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added\. Scott met at the tree farm and we followed him on the winding and hilly dirt road to the campsite. When they recommend 4 wheel drive, they aren't kidding! We stayed at site 3, which is MASSIVE and only a couple minute walk to the waterfall. Site 3 is next to site 2, in the same meadow area but quite far from each other (close enough that you can see your neighbors, but we never heard them). Site 1 seems to be set off a ways in a more shaded area. If you get site 3, I'd highly recommend bringing a canopy or another way of making your own shade as it is an open area. The creek runs next to the site, but the vegetation next to it blocks your view of it, unfortunately. We had many encounters with wildlife and felt extremely secluded from civilization.
