There was some privacy, as you were not right on top of your neighbor and could enjoy your own private patch of wilderness. The facilities were also even nicer than we expected; the compostable toilet is basically a whole bathroom with a shower, and the outdoor kitchen had a sink that was really helpful for washing our camping dishes (as well as a stove and utensils, which I’m sure others who don’t bring their own gear would appreciate). Best of all, our hosts were just so kind, generous, and joyful, from singing in the morning to pleasant conversation whenever we crossed paths.
