The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county \(there are still some beautiful stone walls left\)\. You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private\. Directly across the road from our property \(a 5 minute walk\) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US \(amazing for biking\)\. The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes\. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING\. Notes: 1\) \(no RVs or trailers\) cars need to park at the entrance of the meadow where there is gravel\. Campers got stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud \(which is why we do not allow RVs or trailers\)\. 2\) If you need to go number 2 please dig a cat hole at least 6" deep\. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms\. 3\) The campsite is right off of Route 68\. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them\. From the main driveway you take two short left turns to pull into your circular camp site. You don't see the road or houses.\n\nCONS: It's right on a 55 MPH road so it's noisy. \n\nA lot of the camp site had super long grass that was matted down. (from walking on? tents?) Needs better upkeep.\n\nI was only at the site for about 30 min when I realized I had a big car issue and needed to leave and get home. I texted Angie, thru HipCamp, my issue and stated how I was there but couldn't stay. It's over a week later and she never replied asking how my car was doing or refunded my money. Shows a bit of inhumanity.
