      "reviewBody": "We had a lovely time at Matt’s Hipcamp. The main area with the table and fire ring is very spacious, plenty of room for lawn games or other activities. This is also where the sleeping set up goes. You can’t see the lake from the main area, but there are two paths- one to a high above the water lookout, and one down to the private beach! The beach was definitely the highlight for us. Very special to have a chunk of shore to yourself. Our dog was very pleased to have the water to splash in and cool off with. "

      "reviewBody": "I drove 2.5 hours, based on the photos and description of this campsite, after waiting since last summer when my reservation was canceled by Matt due to some sort of issues with the county, to experience it. Just before my arrival date, it became apparent that the one area of it, the lookout, was unusable due to erosion. That, based on the photos, was where I thought I’d be able to pitch my tent, and is what drew me to book the site. \nDeciding to exercise the option to camp on the beach instead, I proceeded with my plans. \nI had, as a rather fit 66 year old woman, an extremely hard time with the padlock and excessive chain wrapped around the gate. I was able to squeeze myself around the end of the gate without unlocking it, to go ahead and walk in to take a look at the site before struggling anymore with the lock. The available camping area was a huge open field with a circular drive. Absolutely NO shade or protection from the elements. The lookout was beautiful, but unusable. The “path” and loft style *** ladder *** to the beach, which had fallen trees and very little area to set up camp without fearing that more erosion could happen at any time, posed a very dangerous situation, in my mind. Besides, getting all of my gear down the ladder and back up would not have been a wise option due to the possibility of injury. The description of this camp on Hipcamp seriously needs updating. I left, and feel like a refund should have been offered once I texted Matt to say I’d done so."
