      "reviewBody": "I have been to Splitters' Creek campsite on a few occasions and had a most enjoyable time with friends from overseas and with family.\nHowever, the last time  12 - 14 January 2025, we were awakened at around midnight by rifle shots. earlier that day we had sen spent 303 cartridges on the dirt road near the campsite. This is not a good activity to have been happening when there are visitors with kids and family nearby. if an incident occurred there would be uproar.\nI am unsure whether the shooters were members of the property owners' family or friends, or possibly uninvited visitors. In any case, there is no place for theis activity on a property open to the paying public. The danger signs are eberywhere. I will not be returning to this splendid property, unfortunately. "

      "reviewBody": "We loved real camping with no power or reception right along the running creek no more than ten metres from the little waterfall area where the kids and dogs had great fun. We had two vehicles which fit comfortably on the flat area. No one else was around and it was bliss! Great escape from the screen time and hussle. \nPlenty of firewood around to collect, this is a hidden gem. We most definitely will be returning! Thank you "
