The rivers contain bream, roach, pike, perch, tench, dace, bleak etc\. with good fishing all year round\.The Old Marina contains bream, roach, rudd, perch, pike, tench, eels etc\. The rivers and Old Marina are free fishing to patrons and a day ticket system is run on the Carp Lake\. Fishing at Short Ferry is for patrons only and is available all year round\. Short Ferry Carp Lake was opened in the spring of '98 and has been very popular with our customers\. The lake contains carp, rudd, crucian carp, chub, barbel, etc\. At the time of writing, the lake record for fish is 24\.8lb mirror and the record for one day is 166lb of small carp\.
