The High Peak, Tissington & Monsal Trails are all very close\.There is so much to do in the Derbyshire Dales\. Once you have booked your accommodation you can think about how to relax during your break\. Take your choice of cycling by heather covered moors, walking through rocky valleys or visiting picturesque villages nearby, climbing, caving, hang\-gliding, fishing, sailing, canoeing, riding and trekking\.We are predominantly a working farm, so if you are expecting a site with a bar, a games room, a shop, a children's playground, and a swimming pool, then this is probably not the place for you\.To camp here is to be in noble company\! There is well documented evidence showing battalions of the famous Sherwood Foresters using Shallow Grange as their summer camp at the beginning of the last century\.
