The land is beautiful- lilly pads in the pond, rolling hills, and gorgeous sunsets. It was so peaceful, and lovely to be able to walk up to the horses as they grazed on the land. \n\nThe tent stayed in was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and clean. Generators provides electricity for lights and even a little AC cooler (I do recommend bringing a fan to help blow the cool air through out the tent. \n\nThe bathroom was clean, and even had hot water for showers!\n\nWe got the option for a trail ride and the horses were so sweet and beautiful. We saw some incredible views while riding- definitely one of the best trail rides we’ve done. \n\nNot enough can be said about the graciousness of our hosts- from beginning to end, their thoughtfulness attentiveness, and kindness. On our first day out it was raining, and our hosts cane out to give us a fresh, dry bundle of firewood. They made our stay pleasant, peaceful, and enjoyable. We will be back for sure! The hosts were very available for communication before we arrived. We loved driving up and seeing all of the cows and horses on the land. We got a quick tour of our accommodations, they were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! They even brought over some fishing poles and tackle for us to give fishing a try. You could see the large fish jumping at times! We were told we could enjoy all of the land, and that's what we did! The animals were so friendly and it felt so special to walk along with them. My daughter loves horses (we had a scheduled train ride for the evening) but we found a friendly heard prior and spent a lot of time in the fields with them, petting them, watching them, walking around with them. It was truly special for all of us! The trail ride experience was more fun that I expected too. The people were all so friendly. I was nice to stay someplace and not have to put up our tent and bags etc. We will definitely be back!!!
