We were at Ellie’s favorite and the river view was beautiful, although we came right after major rain so it was too muddy to get close to the river. Bugs were not a problem and our girls enjoyed just running around the fields near our campsite! Firewood was provided and Jon-Mikel was very responsive and helped us get our city car out of the mud (if you’re coming in rainy springtime, AWD is not enough and you’ll need 4WD - or park at the entrance and hike in with your gear).
