Some of the best white water rafting is less then 5 miles up the road along with zip lining and a lil taste of moonshine here and there\. This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse\. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not to needy\. We had the best camping experience here… beautiful river, spacious site, and close to many hikes and activities. People are complaining about traffic noise but you can barely hear anything. \nWe booked last minute so we couldn’t get a river front site but site 6 is close enough to see/hear the river so no complaints here. Judging by what I saw sites 1,7, and 9 are prime river front spots with plenty of space. 2,3,4, and 5 are away from the river but are closer to the bath house. Kelly was super nice, helpful with directions, and very responsive to every questions. She was also nice enough to haul over some firewood and talk about nearby attractions, floating advice, and cultural/natural history of the area.
