amazing and relaxing stay at the creekside site. Jonathan is a generous and incredibly informative host and made us feel well cared for. There were four kids and two dogs in our group and they had a blast exploring the creek for hours. It was a beautiful spot. The only downside, it’s very close to the road and the road noise was loud and constant through the night, when we just wanted to enjoy the sounds of nature. Everything else about our stay was fantastic and we were sad to be leaving after a great weekend getaway. I appreciated his input. The site was as described. It is not overtly private as it is immediately across from a camper lot, and river access for other campers does go through the campsite, but we really didn’t have any issues. We went in October, so foliage no longer provided much privacy. The road traffic through Hinton does also go right by the campsite, so you will hear that at all times. I would recommend this site for families. People looking for private sites should look elsewhere. Overall, it was a good experience.
