We camped out in the middle of the pasture and had a gorgeous view. The grass can be quite tall with lots of burrs, so long pants are a good idea. Also, if you have seasonal allergies of any kind, bring some meds -- it's no joke out there. But, it's so so worth it. The ranch is lovely and there's lots to see. Short hikes up two nearby hills. Walk past the nearby cows staring at you in bewilderment, definitely a hilarious and worthwhile experience. If you sleep under the tree bring earplugs as a really loud bird wouldn't shut up in the morning. Also bring long socks/pants and shoes as the wheat in the fields will jab into your legs, not a big deal though. Pretty private and secluded.
