Toilets, hot showers, H & C and drinking water\. Place for washing clothes & dishes\. Chemical disposal point\. Swimming hole & permit fishing on river\. Well\-trained pets allowed\. Small campfires, \(with care\),7am \- 11pm, on old, established fire\-spots\.We are open all year round \!Off\-site Facilities:Food Shop 1 1/2m, Petrol 2m, Bar/Pub/Restaurant 5/8m \(Clachaig Inn\) Glencoe Hotel, 1 3/4m, Indoor Heated Pool 2m, \(Isle of Glencoe Hotel\)AND MANY MORE\!\!\!FiresYES, YOU CAN HAVE A SMALL CAMPFIRE\!Remember they are supposed to be small\!Small campfires are allowed 7am \- 11pm\.On old, established fire spots\.Don't burn any grass\.Ask warden for help re: firewood\.We are open all year round \!About the AreaThere are plenty places you can visit within one day trip from Red Squirrel campsite either on foot or by car\.From high monros \( about 20 around Glencoe \) to a nice pub \( only about 10 minutes walk \)TO SEE MORE LOOK AT:www\.visit\-fortwilliam\.co\.uk DirectionsWe are situated near the Old Glencoe Road\. About 1 mile off the main A82 which passes through the Glen, coming from the South\. You can access A82 either from Glasgow or Edinburgh \( about 2 hours drive \) to the south or Fort William \( 25 minutes drive \) and Inverness\( 2 hours drive \) to the north\. You can access the Old Glencoe Road taking the first left coming down towards Glencoe, from the North \- from Glencoe village\.By bus \- get off at Glencoe Hotel\. Go to the village\. Keep going, pass humped bridge and walk for another 1 ¾ miles\. We are after the Scottish Youth Hostel\.And\.\.\.we are open all year round \!For timetables for buses from Fort William look at busesBy train –The nearest train station is in Fort William \( 14 miles\) For timetables look at trainsThere are frequent bus services to Glencoe from Fort William\.
