There was some communication needed up front to ensure the safety of the chickens on property, who I believe usually run free during the day, which is something to keep in mind. There was also a pig in a harness that wandered around from time to time. In the end, everyone got along. One of the dogs on property stuck with us throughout our stay as well; we loved her company! There was a beautiful rocky area near the campfire rings that led down to a fresh water river where we cooled off and hung out during the heat of the day. There was no cell service for AT&T or Verizon but the WiFi worked beautifully. I worked remotely on my computer one day and had no issues.
