It took over an hour before the host reached back out to me. While waiting for the host, I proceeded to drive on the property. I parked my van up one of the vineyard rows. When I got out of my vehicle, I noticed the grounds were extremely dry and overgrown with weeds. I let my dog out to roam, however, the ground was too rough and it was pretty hot. I put my dog back in the van. While I was trying to figure out how to set up, a bee flew in my van, unbeknownst to me. My dog stepped on the bee, which I didn't know. He then vegan to vomit profusely. I was on the property for less than 15 minutes before I left to take my dog to an emergency vet. I still didn't know what happened to my dog until I found the dead bee in my van the next day. I spent the night in a hotel and left the next morning. Unfortunately, I would not go back. Todd was quick to respond to a couple of questions and his directions were easy to follow for finding the spacious RV spot with full hook-ups making the rural location very pleasant. ATT and Verizon cell service were both very good on the property. Our 2 dogs loved the off-leash paths and were really intrigued by vineyard \"guard coyote\"! We also enjoyed offsite hiking with our pups -- Pacific Crest Trail access just 15 mins away and we highly recommend William Heise County Park near Julian. We agree with other reviewer that water pressure was weak so we used RV water pump for showers to work-around.
