He was a great host, orienting us to the place and leaving us with the place to ourselves. There’s water, power, and firewood, but the real amenity is the bathroom. It was a convenient stop for us on the way South, but it’s a great location for hiking and fishing excursions. There’s an adjacent farm so you can hear the livestock and roosters in the morning. Make sure to get directions from Jeff because directions through Hipcamp took us down the wrong street. The site is like a little private oasis, with a waterfall and flowing creek after the rainstorm. The driveway up is a bit steep but I was able to get up to the lower-level campsite with my RWD camper van. However, I was afraid to try to make it to the upper-level campsite, which has a steeper driveway. The site is designed for a vehicle smaller than my 19-ft van, but we made it work. Jeff was a very good host - he occasionally checked in with me to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. I would certainly stay there again when in the area. The bath house was very nice qnd convenient. There were multiple sites with power and water. Just be sure you bring a 110 converter if you have a 30 Amp plug. Area is private but small. It is better suited for more than one camper if you are camping with friends. Spot really is best for just one camper at a time as it's too small for multiple people. Host was very nice and helpful.
