We are 40 miles from Newberry National Volcanic Monument if exploring the lava lands interests you, and Paulina Lake is 30 miles from here\. We are 45 minutes from Bend, 30 minutes from Sunriver, and 10 minutes from the town of La Pine, which has three grocery stores, a large drug store, restaurants and anything else you might need\. This is a quiet residential neighborhood comprised of small acreages, and this property is on a small cul\-de\-sac that backs up to the forest\. She provided a welcoming and adorable camp space with recommendations and even local magazines. The space was very private and surrounded by the outdoors. The main area in La Pine is a short distance, and it’s not far to get to Bend. There are also trails directly behind the property that are great for walking with dogs and exploring. I would definitely stay here again. It was very central to everything we wanted to do, the area was private and felt safe and secure, we had electric and water, Ronni was the most gracious & accommodating host AND the view was really nice ias its licated in a heavily pined forest neighborhood with a large lot. This site was both functional as well as nice to come back to after full days of exploring. We visited Crater Lake, Grants Pass, the California Redwoods, and Oregon coast all from this campspot. Groceries were nearby when needed and a dump station just a few miles up the road. We 10/10 recommend this spot and would absolutely come back.
