There’s very little highway noise but you do get to hear the whistle of the trains in the afternoon.\n\nThere’s room for one family tent or two personal tents and a prep area near the fire pit overlooking the lake. In the clearing – up a short rise from the fire pit – is a vehicle turnaround or room for more tents/trailers.\n\nThere is some debris and other camping equipment stored near the site which isn’t any fun to look at and the vegetation surrounding the campsite is pretty dense so plan accordingly.\n\nThe property is quite dog-friendly. There’s oddly not many squirrels and ground varmint to chase and the lakefront vegetation is quite dense so it’s not terribly inviting for anything other than the intrepid dog.\n\nWe took paddle boards out on the lake several times.
