The village of Crantock is a beautiful small village which has many walks around it with fantastic countryside views and so much to see\. There is a lovely thatched pub which has great food and good beers for those partial to a nice bite to eat in the sun or inside\.The estuary of the River Gannel runs up between Crantock and Newquay on the opposite headland\. It is easily walked and crossed at low tide, and at high tide during the day there is a small row boat ferry service to take you across to the other side\.
