Such a private space that we were able to enjoy with our dogs and two toddlers! The host was also welcoming to some extended family who spent a day with us on the property. The easy access down to the river really made this stay spectacular as we spent the majority of our time down in the water swimming and fishing. Graham is a wonderful host. The rest of my review is no reflection of him or the property:\n\nWith the crazy weather we’ve been having, I was happy to have the weather protection. With the severe thunderstorm threats and flood watches, I decided not to cancel my reservation. That was a big mistake. Hipcamp and Sensible Weather would not refund me any money, even though there were severe thunderstorms forecasted. My party and I decided it wasn’t safe to sleep there and left the property. We returned the next day to try again, hoping to get at least a little bit of money refunded. The same thing happened and we left to stay safe. I messaged customer support with screenshots of the severe weather warning and flood warnings and they did not seem bothered by it at all. \n\nI am unsure if I will be using Hipcamp again. If I do, I am definitely NOT paying for the Sensible Weather coverage. It was a waste of time and money. I should’ve just canceled my reservation when I saw the forecast. Save money, time, and your sanity. Don’t rely on Sensible Weather. " } ] }
