Very easy to get to, we're situated just one mile off the A39 Atlantic Highway and only 1 hour from Exeter\.Holiday CottagesPencuke Farm has five self\-catering holiday properties, each offering guests a comfortable stay in a cottage or barn conversion\. As with many character properties, they are steeped in history\.The main barn was originally built in 1898 and has been renovated to provide three of our cottages, Darzona \(1 bedroom\), Skyber Barn \(3 bedroom\) and The Roundhouse \(2 bedroom\)\. This barn also forms the main farmhouse for Pencuke Farm\. Originally the horses used to be kept in one end of the barn and the grain used to be milled in the middle\. The part of the barn called The Roundhouse was where the horses walked round and round to turn the mill for the main barn\.We also have two 17th Century cottages, Apple Cottage \(3 bedroom\) and Appleloft \(2 bedroom\)\. They used to be one house and the family would store apples in the loft area from their orchard, hence the name Appleloft for the smaller cottage\.The cottages vary in size from 1 bedroom through to 3 bedroom, so we can suitably accommodate couples, families or larger groups\.
