Welcome to She\-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside\. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits\. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking\. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala\. Most afternoons the local Rikali \(Australias Otter\) can be seen diving for Yabbies\. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic\. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane\. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them\. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet\. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available\. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request\. 1 10 Amp power connection is also available on request\. If you've got a 18+foot caravan and it’s wet when you're leaving, then you'd probably want to be in 4wd mode when you're coming back out, up the embankment with your van, but otherwise 2wd car access is fine.
