Tucked away in Maes Heddwch \(Peaceful field\) at the southern end of the Vale of Clwyd this is a great base to discover this lesser known corner of North Wales\. We have done a lot of work since Google Maps took their pictures\! Including planting tress and hedgerows\. It is a lovely spot for a retreat from the hustle and bustle, sought out by walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, red squirrel seekers, foragers, neolithic stone hunters, artists, writers, historians and others\. over New Year, it was nothing short of exceptional! \nThe best was unbelievably comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, there were lots of really nice touches like, dog biscuits, milk, fresh eggs available, binoculars and head torch for us to use.\n\nThe site itself was stunning in a little fenced off area so the dog could run freely around the hut. It backed onto the chicken run which we loved. \nThere's were loads of logs and fire lighting stuff for us to use.\n\nWe struggled to find the hut to start with but Ruth kindly jumped on the car to help us find it. \n\nWill be coming back!
