Nice campground, very spread out sites not close to neighbor, clean bathrooms, close to DC metro area for good getaway, nice trails to hiking/ running/ biking.
Overall, this campground offers a pleasant experience with spacious sites and well-maintained facilities, making it a great choice for campers seeking a peaceful retreat. Reviewers frequently praise the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the beautiful natural surroundings, ideal for outdoor activities. However, some guests noted limited privacy at certain sites and the absence of on-site firewood sales, which could be inconvenient. Additionally, noise from nearby military training and limited cell service were mentioned as drawbacks. Despite these issues, the campground remains a popular choice for its affordability and tranquil setting.
