Definitely one of our favorite Hipcamp finds. \r\n\r\nCindy and Brent were incredibly kind hosts who went out of their way to be welcoming. They gave us our space when we wanted privacy but were also very accommodating when we needed help. Cindy was nice enough to give us a tour of the lovely walking paths around the property and introduce us to the animals. \r\n\r\nThe grounds themselves were beautiful. We had a nice shaded spot overlooking a pond with 50 amp electric and water. Lots of room for our pup to roam around and enjoy. A couple of things to know - you have to drive up a bumpy, grassy, hilly area, about 100 yards to get to the campsite. There is only 50amp power, not 30 or regular outlets. The camper spot is fairly narrow if you want power because there are things on the other side of it.\r\n\r\nThe big issue was fire ants. About 10 feet by 5 feet of ant hole after ant hole. I was putting out my awning in the one space I could park and get the power and I had 20 ants on each shoe. My ankles were totally bitten up in the two minutes I stood there. That's why I checked the space to see if I could just move a bit and saw ant holes everywhere. No way to set up an outside space for my puppy and daughter. We left and drove on to a Cracker Barrel. The owners didn't respond until the morning and said they didn't know about the ants.
