"reviewBody": "This campgroud has been closed for several years due to pine bark beetle damage. If the USFS cuts down all the beetle killed trees and reopens the campground it will be, unfortunately, like many of the others in the area, like camping in a clear cut. It is still a great area to be in but the days of campsites shaded by lodgepole pines are gone and will be for another 30-40 years. As of June 22, 2018 this campground was closed.",

"reviewBody": "Tons of downed trees for firewood (check if fires are allowed when you visit). Excellent small trout stream runs next to the campground that has some nice brown’s. The hike up to the lake is nice. Pit toilets only, but easy access off the main highway. Flat sites, secluded sites. Something for RV’s and tents. Suitable for cars, trucks and RV’s up to ~25’ I’d say. ",

"reviewBody": "The campground is back open which was good. The whole area was full on a Thursday and this was the last campground with a spot. So we got lucky. The trees have been clearcut and now is a mess. The stumps remain with lots of loose branches everywhere. Handy for having campfires. There are sites around the perimeter that are still quite nice. There is a nice stream that flows along the east side. The campground is near many of the recreation activities so it was a good location. The outhouses were clean but no water. We had a moose visit the campground each night. Would have preferred some of the other campgrounds but Nash worked well and we got lucky. It was a good weekend. ",
