Situated between two headlands overlooking Ynys Enlli \(Bardsey Island\), a place of historic significance and the destination of pilgrimage over the centuries\. Boat trips can be arranged to the island\. A peaceful and spiritual experience\. The picturesque village of Aberdaron is approx\. 2 miles away with its shops, pubs, bakery and beautiful beach\. A 5 minute drive, 30 minute walk by road, or for the adventurous a 2\.5 hour walk along the All Wales Coastal Path is a must do\! The Coastal Path passes through the adjoining headland\. Other sandy beaches such as Porthor \(Whistling Sands\) and Porth Iago are also close by\. Porthor can also be reached by the foot on the Coastal Path, a lovely walk\. On\-site facilities include a toilet / shower block, which comprises of lades, gents, disabled / family room\. Metered showers at £1\. Remember your coins\! Change can be had in the café in peak season\. A washing\-up area with a freezer for your ice packs\. Electrical hook\-ups\. Water points scattered around the fields and there is a chemical disposable unit\. The wind was just really strong for most of the weekend, but we were on the tail end of a storm. The first night we had to camp in the middle of the field because their was no space by the hedges so the wind was worse there. We moved it on the second day and it was loads better.
