Ok to drive your car right up to the site. Quiet and secluded, some traffic noise in the morning but mostly just birds in the woods. Daniel was very friendly and helpful with excellent suggestions for dining in nearby Stonington (CryBabies really was superb). Facilities at the campsite were somewhat modest but functional, no complaints. He opened his home to us; bathroom, showers, etc gave us loads of helpful advice about where to go and what to see, and was just an all around pleasure to chat to. \n\nThe spot we camped, next to the house was large and had a grill, fire pit, multiple chairs, and spots for parking and tents. The real selling point though is the absolutely incredible beach. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful private cove on the land. We took the dogs down every day to play on the rocks.\n\nLocation-wise it was perfect for us.
