Mount Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and many hiking trails are all within comfortable driving distance\. Expect to see wildlife, my land has Turkey and Deer\. You are also free to come get some farm fresh eggs from my Chickens or purchase one of my meat Rabbits for your campfire\. I can help you clean it if you haven't done it before\. Or you can just pet the goats and take in the farm\. During the summer we have Blackberries to pick, and you are free to use anything in the garden\. Usually have Corn, Tomatoes, Jalepenos, Peppers, Okra, and some other things also\. We bought the land two years ago, it was originally purchased and house built on it in the late 1970's by a retired steel worker\. Come prepared with a car with 4 wheel drive or AWD because it's quite a climb to bring your things up. The view is just amazing, mountain tops views go on for days. Nice fire pit and grill grates, firewood already there on arrival. Land was nicely mowed and felt good to walk around barefoot. We were pleasantly surprise that there was a spot for target shooting. That was fun and we got some great practice in! Plenty of room for the dog to roam...it got hot up there so make sure to have plenty of water and make an area for shade. This is definitely a spot we will revisit again.
