The previous review is SUPER helpful. We pulled in close to midnight without an issue locating the fire rings to set up camp. We were camping in a truck bed tent and it was great. The stargazing is...
Felt very safe, mostly just grass and yucca trees for vegetation. Had a lot of fun going to Carlsbad Caverns and enjoying the peace and quiet of the desert at night.
This campsite offers a spacious and quiet environment, ideal for those seeking a budget-friendly option close to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. Reviewers frequently praise the stunning sunsets and excellent cell service, making it suitable for remote work. However, campers should be prepared for strong winds and occasional noise from the nearby highway, as well as the presence of roaming cows. Overall, it provides a great value for those looking for a simple and scenic camping experience.
