The Woods to the back of the Park is also part of the Park & Dogs MUST BE ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES\.Merryhill Club RulesDogs and pets are not permitted for day visitors\. Owners of holiday homes or touring caravans may bring their dogs if they are staying on the park\. Dogs are not permitted in or around the communal areas i\.e clubhouse, pool area, miniten, petanque, volleyball courts, sunbathing area\. Dogs MUST be kept on leads at all times anywhere on the park AT ALL TIMES\. We do have a doggie woodland walk\.Pierced body jewellery is not allowed, navel piercing is accepted\.Rules regarding use of the swimming pool are displayed in clubhouse and pool reception, please make sure you read and understand them upon arrival\.Safely constructed or purpose built BBQ’s are permitted, but please do not leave them unattended at any time for the safety and consideration of others\. \(No open fires allowed on the ground\)\. Visitors are most welcome to use the club BBQ in front of the clubhouse\.No washing lines, with the exception of airers designed for caravansRubbish must not be left outside your caravan/tent, wheelie bins are provided\.The park is open from 1st March to 31st October each year, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in the Winter months\.The park owners do not accept responsibility for cars or personal property ofpeople using the park\.Out and AboutAs Merryhill is only 8 miles from the City Center of Norwich, it is ideally placed for those people who feel the need for retail therapy\. Norwich is a super city to walk around, with the Castle and famous Cathedral and many varied and interesting buildings to look at\. The market is well worth a visit\. There was a time when Norwich had 365 churches and 365 pubs, I just wish I had been around to try some of them\. \(the pubs that is\)\.Within 5 minutes of the club there is a large Sainsbury's Supermarket, if your feeling peckish you can choose from Mc Donalds, Pizza Hut or KFC, also so great shops , The Range, Argos & Staples & Next Home Store and Pet world \. There are 2 great pubs one opposite the Showground they serve good food & at a good price, also a Pub on the Longwater Estate \. Also we have The Swan Pub in Ringland Village set in one of the prettiest spots overlooking the River , they serve great food & has a very nice restaraunt called the "Outback" & they specialise in Australian food \( booking is recommended \)East Dereham is a lovely little Market town only about 20 mins drive, here you will find everything you need without having to go into Norwich City Center\.Also in Dereham near to Tesco & Lidl is Greentrees Caravans they have a well equipped shop for all those last minute things you might need \( or you forget your tent poles \!\!\!\!\) this has happened\.Just outside the club's entrance there is access to some good walking around the Ringland Hills and Wensum Valley\. Also near to the club is a disused railway line that's been transformed into a cycle path, it's approximately 20 miles in length but it’s not too difficult for the average rider\.
