As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted\. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices\. Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s\. Large groups are welcome\. There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups\. There is also a year round swimming hole fed by a solar bore on the property for anyone wanting to cool down\. Kids under 12 are free but if fossicking must be covered by a permit\. Pets are welcome\.
