It was secluded, clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and other supplies. We appreciated how well stocked the pantry and bathroom was with anything we could have possibly needed. We loved that our dogs could join us. Having to be out of the summer heat, we had several TVs to watch with streaming available. Once it finally cooled down, they had a great area for a fire pit with a single bench. You may want to bring extra camping chairs. Not a lot of light pollution so the site was great for stargazing. Kerry-Lee was a great host, responsive, and willing to help and accommodate us with whatever we needed. We also loved the special little gift. Will definitely be back knowing how close it is to longhorn caverns and inks lake. We thought we wanted to go into town one night, but never ended up leaving our own quiet camp fire ring and cozy RV. It is well-stocked with everything, including thoughtful surprises! There are labels and instructions for everything, in case you are not familiar with RVs. We enjoyed playing games at the table, and with our dogs lying in front of the fireplace, it felt like a home away from home! This host family is SO sweet and responsive and will make you feel very welcome on their land.
