We are a member of the Wildlife Land Trust and listed as a Wildlife Sanctuary\. This helps us become a release site for our local native wildlife and furthers our efforts with Wildlife Care and Rehabilitation\. Please note: You must be self contained to stay here as there are no amenities\. Grey water can be placed on the trees\. Dogs are allowed however will need to be kept on leads at all times to ensure they do not chase the wildlife\. We do have wildlife in care behind fences and in cages :\- however we ask that you please do not touch as the animals are being prepared to be released back into the wild\. Rained before we came and first day but site is compact Sandy loam so no problem with the wet weather. Good solar where we camped. Not a lot to do in immediate area but enjoyed having a look around and did a day trip to Airlie Beach only 45min away. Wouldn’t return now we have seen the area already but for those who haven’t it’s worth spending a couple of days.
