A lot of places around the cabin are private land, but there is still plenty to explore.\nThe cabin has almost everything you need, but make sure you bring something to light a fire, and get some firewood. I didn't bring either, so I walked about 2.5h to the nearest village, Huberdeau, and I very much recommend this gorgeous walk to anyone in the area; everything on the way is beautiful.\nIn the town, they were only selling firewood in bulk, which I didn't need, so I only bought a lighter, and collected firewood on my own, it's plentiful throughout the area, but a bit hard to light when things are damp. It gets cold at night, be prepared to sleep fully clothed, even with a fire.\nOverall, the experience was otherworldly for someone like myself who has never experienced such wilderness.
