About this space

Welcome to our idyllic 10-acre historic farmstead in rural Johnson County, Iowa, about 8 miles west of Iowa City. We are a bookish, quiet couple with an 8-year-old daughter, 2 curious llamas named Jake and Elwood, 4 free-range chickens (named after the Golden Girls), 2 twin babydoll sheep (Phillip and Richard), and 5 orange barn cats.
