A large recently tarmacked layby on a road up on the moors overlooking Halifax sailing club with beautiful views and sunsets. There are quite a few moorland walks and trails that you can explore while you're there. It is known by people who want to go for a sneaky spliff and also vehicles for the nearby quarry turn around there so be mindful of that.
