Was kindly & professionally greeted by Nick who's an absolutely amazing host! He showed me to my spot & made sure I had everything I needed. \nThis place is set in a valley between two hills. Lots of trees & lush greenery. Off the grid with no cell service so if you're looking to detach this is definitely the place!\nAll camp spots have one of those grills that are set into the ground like you would find at a park so you don't have to bring your own. \nI chose Camp spot #1 which is set up on a landing beneath some trees. Very flat camping spot where you can fit many tents. There's a fire pit and park bench. This camp spot is really big and overlooks the valley as well as the creek which you can hear flowing with bullfrogs cricketing. This camp spot was too big for a single person so I ended up moving over to camp #2.\n\nCamp spot #2 is just down a little trail from the origination point when you first get down to the pasture. It's about a 2-minute walk from where you unload your stuff. It's a smaller site suitable for 1 to 2 tents around park bench and fire pit. But has access down a couple steps to more camping in lush green grass. Camp spot #3 is about a 4-minute walk if that from the spot where you unload your stuff. This is set way back down the trail and it's very very private. There's lots of room for multiple tents underneath the trees & I think it gets full shade all day. \nGreat spot to get in touch with nature & will be back! Hosts were friendly/helpful while still giving lots of privacy to enjoy our stay. The property was well kept and beautiful. Stayed in site 3 which was tucked away a bit and perfect for us with our dogs. There were some mosquitos so be prepared! Lots of firewood was available, great picnic table, and enough room at site 3 for 2 small tents close together. The site is situated nicely so you're looking down at the surrounding area. More traffic coming up and down that road than I expected, but I think Matthew has that noisy inconvenience priced in. You'll notice his rate is less than other properties in WA. Would be nice if campers were allowed to drive up to the site, but he's trying to keep the grassy field beautiful and green, I understand it. Nick was helpful and kind. I think the place is priced fairly for what it is. Watching the cows graze off in the distance was nice. The mornings were peaceful, and we were provided ample firewood. " } ] }
