We had shade all day, could see the creek from our fire pit, and were entertained by dozens of fireflies at night. \nA little walk down the gravel bar there was an ideal area for children to play in the water of Logan Creek. Michelle pointed out good areas as well as those to avoid. Besides finding so many pretty rocks, the kids spotted two bald eagles, a pair of Kingfisher birds, and many minnows and bullfrog tadpoles. \nWe added on firewood and it was waiting at our site when we arrived. Our site was far enough away from others that we didn’t see anyone unless they came down the creek. It was so quiet and peaceful at night and the kids slept great. \nWe did not have reliable cell service, which was a plus for me! All 4 kids (ages 3-12) enjoyed themselves. This campsite is certainly staying on our shortlist!
