A wooden platform is available for those with a free-standing tent, with a bbq, chairs, firepit, and tables adjacent. Steps away there's a small corral with a portable toilet and sink. \n\nThe field is ripe with activity from the small birds and bugs, and glimpses of the distant mountains are visible through the trees across the field. \n\nWithin walking distance there's a small convenience store and gas station with basic supplies and liquor. Courtney is a short drive away with anything else one could need. Kitty Coleman Provincial Park is close by with beach access and a boat launch.
