My wife and I were here with our dog for the labor day long weekend and we discovered an amazing getaway to disconnect from the world.\n\nSome things we noted:\n- The site was very easy to find, even though we arrived late at night.\n- The campsite was thickly wooded and felt isolated from the world.\n- Porta Potty was clean!\n- We had some rain, but the area drained well and did not flood.\n- There was just enough signal to make phone calls if necessary.\n- The provided wood was perfect and the fire pit worked like a charm\n\nWe found some great hiking nearby at Goodwin Forest, and did some kayaking at Quinebaug Lake!\n\nIf you like the outdoors and prefer true wooded camping, this is definitely the place to be.\n\nThank you Alan!
