The four yurts made camping easy. One is a single, one has two double beds (or one double and one queen?) and two of them have a double and a single bed. The beds were comfortable and clean (although note that the single beds in the 3-person yurts are smaller, perhaps better for a child or smaller adult). Overall, 11 people could fit comfortably! \r\nEverbear Village is at the end of the road at a working farm. We had the whole ‘village’ to ourselves, and because it’s at the end of the road there are no cars or people going by/through the camp area so in that way it’s definitely private. It is a working farm with residences though, so you will see other people around - if you’re expecting to be out in the wilderness this isn’t for you. \r\nThe camp area is set up well, with nice trees and a central picnic table and large fire pit. There’s also a 5th tent (open sides) for just hanging out - useful if it’s raining. The porta-potty was super clean, and there was a hand washing station set up next to it. Rebecca had also provided water and firewood, very helpful. It’s obvious a lot of thought and effort has gone in to setting up the camp! \r\nThe highlight of Everbear is that you are RIGHT ON the Swannanoa River, and right from the camp area you can walk down to the water and just hang out. We really enjoyed bringing our camp chairs down there, sticking our feet in the water, and listening to the rushing water. The kids enjoyed waking up to the top of the farm road and tubing down a short section over and over again. We also drove ~15 minutes away and did a longer 1-hour float - super fun and easy. \r\nRebecca was a FANTASTIC host, available to help and answer questions as needed. \r\nI’d highly recommend Everbear Village for anyone looking to get out and enjoy nature, without the hassle of setting up your own tents. Bonus is that you’re also super close to all that Asheville has to offer. We’ll be back!! We did have some guests that couldn’t make it so everyone ended up getting their own beds which worked out. It was a couple of the girls first times camping and they loved it! Everything was very clean and the port-o-potty had just been cleaned on our arrival day! We loved the set up and it was private without feeling like we were deep in the woods alone. The river beside us was beautiful and although it rained and we were not able to float it, we really enjoyed the scenery. Rebecca the host was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a successful weekend. We will absolutely stay again! My family and I have already planned to bring our little ones back for a cousin weekend next summer.
