There were a smattering of trailers nearby, but if anyone else was spending the night on the property, I was unaware of it. The stargazing opportunity was amazing at this far west part of the Pacific Coast, with even an upholstered bed to lie on.\n\nBolinas is a special place, so while I waited for my site to become available I explored nearby roads and the town. Had a perfect meal, enjoyed live music, chatted with locals, and visited the studio of a fascinating bird illustrator KeithHansen.com. \n\nThe dome itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. It was a treat not to have to unpack and repack my tent for the night.
